Shrimp Penne with Olives, Red Pepper, and Artichoke

Ingredients
4oz.penne
3Tbsp./1 ½ oz. extra virgin olive oil
2Tbsp./½ oz. chopped garlic
2cups/8 oz. prepared roasted red peppers
113.5 oz. can artichokes, drained and quartered
1cup/4.5 oz black olivespitted and roughly chopped
12each/4 oz. frozen medium shrimpthawed
1cup/1 oz. shredded basil
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne according to package directions. Drain and reserve.
Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the olive oil and garlic and cook until aromatic and just starting to brown (about 30 seconds). Stir in the red pepper, artichokes, and olives and heat through. Stir in the shrimp and penne.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Just before serving, stir in the basil.
