Alphabet Pasta
Alphabet pasta is traditional pasta that has been cut into letters of the alphabet. It includes letters from A to Z, sometimes adding numbers into the mix. This kid-friendly shape is used mostly in soups, but is versatile enough to expand into other recipes, such as pasta salads and mixed dishes. You’ll usually find it in canned soups at any grocery store.
Alphabet pasta is a hit with kids, as the different shapes, letters and numbers can make a meal a fun and interactive experience. But while it may be a childhood favorite, alphabet pasta reached senior citizen status decades ago. It dates all the way back to 1897!
