White Wine Garlic Chicken Sausage Pasta
A slight remake on the classic of pasta with broccoli rabe, this version adds a whole new dimension with a delicious garlic white wine sauce and some fiber filled white beans. Best of all, it’s done and ready to serve in 25 minutes!

White Wine Garlic Chicken Sausage Pasta

Ingredients
- 4 oz. rotini or other short-cut pasta
- 8 cups/8 oz. broccoli rabe trimmed of tough stems
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp./½ oz. sliced garlic
- 4 links/12 oz. cooked chicken sausage sliced into ¼” rounds
- 1 15.5 oz. can butter beans (or other white bean), drained and rinsed
- ½ cup white wine
- Pinch pepper flakes optional

Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil. Cook the rotini according to package directions. When there is 4 minutes of cooking time left, add the broccoli rabe to the pot. Drain and reserve.

Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the olive oil and garlic and cook until aromatic and starting to brown, about 30 seconds. Add the chicken sausage, butter beans, and reserved pasta and broccoli rabe. Toss to heat through. Deglaze with the white wine and simmer to cook out the alcohol, about 2 minutes. Sprinkle in the pepper flakes, if using. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between 6 bowls.
