Ingredients
- 8 oz. spaghetti
- 1 cup Greek style plain yogurt**
- ½ tsp. lemon zest
- 2 tsp. vegetable oil
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tsp. finely chopped garlic
- 2 cups about ½ lb 1” sliced asparagus
- 1 cup roughly chopped smoked ham
- 1 cup frozen peas thawed
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and reserve.

While the spaghetti is cooking, whisk together the yogurt and lemon zest. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Reserve.

Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the vegetable oil and sauté the onion until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and asparagus. Cook until aromatic, about 30 seconds. Add the ham and peas and stir well. Deglaze the pan with ¼ cup water. Remove pan from heat and stir in the spaghetti. Stir in the yogurt sauce. Divide the pasta between 4 bowls and serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
**If you want to cut the fat, use low-fat or non-fat Greek style plain yogurt.
