Spaghetti Crust Pizza with Sausage and Peppers
No “knead” to get messy with making and rolling out pizza dough. Use leftover spaghetti to make this fun and easy pizza the family is sure to love!

Spaghetti Crust Pizza with Sausage and Peppers

Ingredients
- 8 oz. cooked spaghetti
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/2 cup tomato pizza sauce divided
- 1/2 cup shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese divided
- 1 mild Italian sausage about 4 oz, casing removed
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 small red pepper thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup baby arugula optional
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425˚F. Toss together cooked spaghetti, egg, 1/4 cup tomato sauce and 2 tbsp. mozzarella cheese. Arrange on greased 12-inch pizza pan; press into flat layer. Bake for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden and crisp.

Meanwhile, heat skillet over medium heat; cook sausage meat, breaking up with wooden spoon, for about 7 minutes or until browned and cooked through.

Spread remaining sauce over spaghetti “crust.” Sprinkle with oregano; top with sausage meat and pepper slices. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Return pizza to oven; bake for about 7 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden. Sprinkle arugula over top.
Recipe Notes
Tip: For a vegetarian option, omit sausage and add sliced mushrooms and olives.
